advanced techniques

rounding

Rounding is an advanced technique for transcendence in action based on the principle of nishkam karma yoga—“action hardly done.” Through a specific sequence of gentle asana (body positions), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation, the body and mind are guided into deep relaxation, creating profound rest for the entire system.

This is a somatic healing technique to incorporate weekly into your practice to allow for the systematic release of deeply stored stress and fatigue. The purpose is to amplify the depth of being your existing meditation practice, reduce friction and resistance in your life outside of meditation, and get you moving with the forward flow of evolution more swiftly.

*pre-requisite : at least 2 months practicing Vedic Meditation 2x/day.

cosmic body technique

Cosmic Body Technique is an add-on to your daily Vedic Meditation practice. Its purpose is to expand the experience of being beyond the body, stabilizing your connection to the one giant nervous system of the universe. This technique supports the expansion of cosmic and god consciousness as outlined in the Vedic tradition.

*pre-requisite : at least 4 months practicing Vedic Meditation 2x/day.

the siddhis

The Siddhis are advanced techniques drawn from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali—sutras meaning “threads of unity”—designed to awaken perfected human capabilities through a practice known as samyama. Once Being is stabilized through Vedic Meditation, the mind becomes conditioned to operate on more subtle levels. This technique is practiced after meditation and Cosmic Body Technique, gently introducing sutras into pure consciousness—the field of infinite creative potential—enlivening laws of nature already present within us.

This gives rise to enhanced intuition, perception, discernment, and right action. From a neuroscience perspective, the practice is associated with increased brainwave coherence, supporting our ability to remain integrated and clear even while engaged in thought, perception, or activity. Rather than striving for fulfillment, we refine ourselves as instruments of it—tuning into nature’s intention and allowing consciousness to move through us with greater precision and flow.

This technique supports the expansion of Cosmic and Unity Consciousness, as outlined in the Vedic tradition, strengthening our capacity to retain Being while fully engaged in the world. In essence, it is a practice of remembering what we are: consciousness in motion, wave and ocean.

*pre-requisite : cosmic body technique x regular Vedic Meditation practice.

annual tuning

Each year of regular Vedic Meditation, you may receive an advanced technique—a subtle tuning of your mantra designed to enhance your capacity for subtlety within the technique itself.

In the Vedas, the development of subtlety is described through two qualities of consciousness: Vivek, the ability to discriminate between finer and finer layers of experience, and Sūkṣma, the capacity to perceive what is most delicate, refined, and true.

This is not a new technique, but rather a delicate enhancement—allowing your system to attune more precisely to the subtle mechanics of transcendence and to enhance your direct experience of Being.

*pre-requisite : minimum of one year practicing Vedic Meditation regularly.
